Traveling Lincoln Exhibit Stops In Lexington

Learning about Lincoln: that's the goal of a traveling exhibit that landed in Lexington on Wednesday.

The Kentucky Historical Society's History Mobile spent the day in downtown Lexington at the public library.

The exhibit travels around the state and highlights Abraham Lincoln's life and times. The goal is to make learning fun and interesting for everyone.

The history Mobile was only in town for the day, but will return to Lexington in the spring and visit local schools.

Why not broadcast or advertise these events before they happen? By the time anyone finds out the event is happening, it is too late to go.

The exhibit stopped at Bryan Station HS, but none of the students knew who Abe Lincoln was, they thought the history mobile was an American Idol tour bus.
