FEMA is offering financial aid to storm victims in Fayette and surrounding counties.

Laird Beshoar says FEMA is able to offer rental assistance, loans and grants for repairs.

Mary Kenady and Jan Davis were among those who came out to take advantage of the help. Help that has brought hope for those who say they really need it.

The FEMA mobile center will be stationed at The Campbell House until Saturday.

Storm victims can reach FEMA at 800-621-3362 or visit them on the web at www.fema.gov

@Hurricane Katrina "FEMA doesn't help black people either (Bush's Katrina Policy)" Your racist for even dividing people into color. Guess thats just the simplistic way you think. (edited).

My advice to the storm victims. Fix it yourself unless you want formaldehyde trailers to live in and unresponsive Federal agents to hinder your progress. Oh yeah, FEMA doesn't help black people either (Bush's Katrina Policy)

There will be people who had damage from when Uncle Bob got drunk and backed into the side of the house two years ago looking for a hand out. Anytime that they government is giving something away, you will find no shortage of people willing to take it!
