Van Plows Into Central Kentucky Home

A close call Tuesday morning in Scott County after a van plowed into a house.

It happened just after ten on Horshoe drive. That's just off Paris Pike.

Police say the driver was traveling along Paris Pike when he blacked out. The van slid off the road and into the back of the house.

A man inside the house was sleeping at the time of the crash but wasn't hurt.
The driver suffered minor injuries.

This happened to me last year, a truck went through my house, completely, and if you don't live in a ritzy neighborhood, you don't get fences to protect your home. I hope everything turns out ok for this guy. I know what it's like!

This is scary. This is 2 doors down from where my mother lives. It appears my mothers backyard isnt as safe as i thought. I really wish they would put some sort of barrier up between the road and the houses and yards. The speed limit is supposed to be 45 mph in that area, but from my experience there are many speeders. Lack of law enforcment i suppose. Georgetown is known for that.
