Overnight Rain Leads To Flooding In Central Kentucky

Rain that fell on Monday night into Tuesday morning in Scott County has caused some significant flooding in some areas.

The hardest hit area was KY 620 in the northern part of the county, near Sadieville.

Water in low-lying areas is running over the roadway, making it impassable for many drivers including a school bus. Sheriff's Deputies say a bus driver got stuck very briefly with more than a dozen students on board, fortunately, all were fine. It only delayed the bus by a few minutes
.
In Georgetown, some areas by the Toyota Plant were also flooded along US 25. Slick roads were to blame for several non-injury crashes there as well.
