A part of Paintsville and eastern Kentucky's history started a new chapter on Tuesday.
WSIP Radio left their 50 year old building and started broadcasting from their new, state of the art station across the street.
Officials cut the ribbon Tuesday afternoon.
Workers say it was sad to leave the old historic building, but say it was too small and out of date.
