Rocks Leave Much Of Family's Home In Ruins

An Eastern Kentucky family spent much of Wednesday cleaning up, after some rocks crashed into their home, while they were inside.

The Combs family used to live at a home near the Perry-Breathitt County line.

But they say some rocks broke off on the cliff behind it Tuesday night.

The rocks then fell onto the home, destroying the back porch, and ripping into the kitchen.

"All of a sudden, the whole cliff just like fell over," Bradley Combs said. "It just toppled over on to us, and the whole house shook."

Two people were inside the home at the time, but they escaped with just some cuts and bruises.

The Combs family says they do not think their homeowner's insurance will be enough to repair the home.
