Police quickly find suspect in restaurant robbery

It didn't take long for police to find the suspect in a fast food restaurant robbery.

Lexington police say around 9 p.m. Friday, a man walked into Lee's Famous Recipe on Versailles Road, and demanded money.

Police say the man grabbed the clerk's shirt, causing her to back away. Police say the suspect then grabbed the cash drawer and ran off.

Thanks to some tips, police say they found the suspect about an hour later on Whitney Avenue.

Police told WKYT they were questioning the suspect late Friday night.
