Investigators Find Meth Lab

One man is in jail and police are looking for more suspects after investigators find an active meth lab in Pulaski County.

The Lake Cumberland area drug task force arrested Bige Baker at the home on Dixon Smith Road Wednesday night.

Officers say they saw Baker running from a garage with a respirator on after receiving a tip meth was being made.

Agent Warren King with the task force received some chemical irritation to his arms and was treated on the scene.

Social services removed some children from the home.

Of all the cops and correctons officers I met in my time. ALL agree pot isnt a problem and even some agree other drugs arents a problem. As the drugs we have troubles with the most PILLS are LEGAL!!. But all agree that Meth is the top dog trouble maker. Not only does it endanger the users health but when they try to make it they create 7lbs of toxic waste for every few ounces of meth. They dump this waste in local groundwater sources and burn the rest making several tonnes of toxic waste gas. All this is usually done where their and everyone elses kids play or right next door to anybody at random. There has actually been labs found in KY that the cops found because some innocent persons innocent 5yrold wondered too close to the meth head neighbors house. The laws limiting and replacing ephedrine have done a great job but their is still other sources of obtaining it. Epecially since it comes from a tree like asprin does. Sadly we'll never stamp it our completeley.

Now this is great, more stupid people doing stupid things. People who make this stuff have no sense, self morals, and are lazy. Get a real job and become a part of society. I hope everyone who makes this kind of stuff gets caught, put in jail, and never gets out!! I am almost finished with my degree in Criminal Justice and hope to specialize in this area. I know I can't stop it all by my self, but I am going to do whatever it takes to put a major dent in this stupidity!
