Sentencing For Johnson County School Employees Postponed Again

Sentencing is postponed again, a fourth time, for two former Johnson County School employees convicted of stealing thousands of taxpayer dollars.

Former Finance Director Peggy Vanhoose and her former Payroll Clerk Shelby Jean Coleman were found guilty in August on charges they gave themselves unauthorized $20,000 raises and gave Vanhoose's a paycheck while he was in jail. They will have to wait another month to learn their sentence after it was postponed yesterday. It is re-scheduled for April 7th.
