Trailer Hauling Bricks Tumbles Off Mountain Parkway

The Mountain Parkway is back open after an accident involving a tractor trailer early Tuesday morning.

It happened in the westbound lanes near the Powell/Wolfe County line.

Police say the trailer went over a guardrail spilling its load of bricks.

The lanes were closed for several hours and reopened around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the tractor trailer only suffered minor injuries.
