New Ikea Store Opens Near Cincinnati

Get ready to shop! Ikea International has opened a new store near Cincinnati.

The new Ohio Ikea location is the size of six football fields. The 344,000 square foot store is expected to draw shoppers from both Indiana and Kentucky.

The store is best known for its European styles, low prices, and do-it-yourself assembly.

The grand opening was at 9:00 Wednesday morning. People had been camping out in front of the store for days. The first several dozen customers were given a free chair for their trouble.

THANK GOODNESS!!! I love IKEA...I used to live in Seattle and it's my favorite (and cheapest) place to shop for housewares and furniture. And it's very contemporary and modern. You can go to their website to see the kinds of stuff they have. Guess I'm going to Cincinnati this weekend.
