Big Blue Fans Search For Big Dance Tickets

It may be a long trip, but many Big Blue fans are just happy to see their cats in the NCAA tournament.

The cats head to the West Coast to play Marquette in the NCAA Thursday in Anaheim, California.

The game tips off at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time Thursday.

You can see it on WKYT & WYMT.

For those who want to see the game in person, tickets went on sale Sunday night for $153 a piece.

Tickets are on sale at the Honda Center's Web site.

UK's student lottery will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the UK Ticket Office.

Marquette, out of the Big East, is 24-9 after losing to Pittsburg in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament Friday night.

The last time these teams met was in the 2003 NCAA.

The winner will meet the winner of the Stanford - Cornell game Saturday.

I say to the rest of the fans "(BOYCOTT THE GEORGIA DOME)" next year. Have the SEC somewhere else next year. Never let them call it Catlanata again. We go down there spending in some cases thousands of dollars per family and they kick us out of the neighborhood. Tornado or not the gym was safe they were playing in. Is Atlanta so dangerous that they cannot have a game without two hundred Buford P. Justice's armed to the limit with guns, stun guns and night sticks. Doesn't say much about the neighborhood does it. Or the heads of the NCAA. Seems they might be a little hollow!

Go Cats! I hope we have a lot of fans there! Way to go for the people that can afford the tickets/flights/hotels to follow our GREAT basketball team around.

Why does everyone get so torn up over a bunch of school kids playing a silly game? I for one will be so happy in a couple of weeks when this madness is over for another year.
