Pharmacist Is Arrested For Allegedly Selling Weapons & Drug Samples

A southeastern Kentucky pharmacist is arrested for allegedly selling weapons and drug samples illegally.

The bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives arrested 61-year-old Calvin Lynn Manis of Barbourville.

Manis is the owner of Parkway Pharmacy and is a federal firearms licensee.

An indictment says Manis illegally sold or traded prescription drug samples in February of 2003.

The indictment also accuses Manis of violating five federal firearms laws between 2003 and 2006.
