Police in Somerset and Pulaski county are investigating the theft of some very large industrial sized items.

Police there say late Tuesday night someone ripped apart seven industrial sized air conditioning units from several businesses in the area.

One of the businesses hit was Buyers Paradise in Somerset. The owner of the furniture store says the thieves simply destroyed two of his units, tearing them apart and ripping out all of the copper inside.

The owner says it will probably cost him nearly 20 thousand dollars to repair the damage to the units.

@Zatoichi Location: Richmond Dont forget that every job sept for hard labor and fast food requires a drug test now. They made drugs illegal then drug tests mandatory then crime exploded. Drive out estill county some time where ppl have no money. There are several trailers sitting stripped of all metal. It wasnt even like that till about 3years ago when gas and scrap prices rised.

I DO HVAC & I KNOW IT'S NO EASY JOB PUTTING IN SYSTEMS, IF PEOPLE WERE REALLY SMART THEY WOULD REALIZE THAT AN AC UNIT IS WORTH A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN THE $50.00 OR LESS THEY ARE GETTING OUT OF THEM, A UNIT FROM A HOME AT USED RETAIL STILL SELLS FOR NEARLY $500.00, WHY NOT DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT INSTEAD, LORD KNOWS WE COULD ALWAYS USE MORE TECHS. IF THEY ARE ABLE TO CUT THEM UP WITH OUT GETTING FRIED, WHY NO GO TO SCHOOL AND DO IT FULL TIME LEGALLY? PEOPLE JUST DON'T MAKE SENSE THESE DAYS!

If people would make as much of an effort at working as they do stealing they would be better off. If I can work 6 days a week and take care of 5 kids by myself without being on welfare and foodstamps they should be able to work and buy their drugs without stealing!
