Measure Would Allow People To Eat Deer That Damage Crops

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Buzzards would lose a bountiful food
supply under a bill that's making its way through the Kentucky
General Assembly.

The measure would change a state law that forbids farmers who
shoot crop-damaging deer from eating the animals or giving them to
needy families.

That has meant lots of rotting carcasses for buzzards and
coyotes to dine on.

Democratic state Rep. Royce Adams of Dry Ridge is sponsoring the
legislation. He says the current law is wasteful.

The Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee approved
the measure on Thursday. It now goes to the Senate floor for
consideration.

The House approved the bill last week.

With the level of disrespectful inbred paochers like my neighbor. I highly doubt any deer shot by a man that doesnt mind taking the time to clean skin and cut the meat lets it sit and rot.

YEA, THAT IS ABOUT PAR FOR THE COURSE. I AM SURE THAT WILL BE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY FOR EACH FARMER AROUND THE COMMENWEALTH TO MAKE SURE THAT LOCAL COYOTE POPULATION WILL NOT DECREASE FOR YEARS TO COME. I SEE THIS BILL MAKING GOOD PEOPLE LIVE HARD.

Dumbfounded....Now let me get this straight. You can kill the deer but you can't eat it... No wonder this country needs help....
