Trooper Shot In Leg Suffers Heart Attack

There's been a set back for a Kentucky State Police trooper shot on duty two weeks ago.

State police dispatchers say Trooper Jeff Vincent suffered a heart attack Thursday in Clinton County.

He was flown to a hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Doctors there found three blockages.

Earlier this month, Vincent was shot in the leg while responding to a reported kidnapping in Clinton County.

Vincent spent three days at UK Hospital recovering from the gun shot wound.

Police later found the suspect, Terry Sawyers, and his ex-wife Teresa dead.
