Wildcats Headed Home From Anaheim

Basketball continues to dominate the news today with both local and national action on the court.

After a valiant effort out in Anaheim, the Kentucky Wildcats are headed home.

We have learned the Cats' plane will leave California around 1:45pm, headed for Blue Grass Airport.

Their plane is expected to land here in Lexington around 6pm. Of course, the Cats fell to Marquette Thursday in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

I would guess you could say they got Anaheim Steamrolled. Look on the bright side folks, if there is one. We can watch them do the same thing next year. Whether you are beat by one point or fifty, YOU'RE JUST AS BEAT! Almost winning by a team just doesn't cut it. I for one am tired of hearing local news reporters saying they almost won it, or they came within four points. Fact is THEY GOT BEAT tell it the way it is, don't sugar coat a loss. Pour salt and vinegar on it. Call them what they are! A bunch of lazy losers. Billy G. inherited a team that resented him replacing Tubby thats a known fact. When the players are gone and the wounds are healed we will have a great team again. Especially with Billy.
