Crews Clean Up Train Derailment In Southern KY

A small train derailment is being cleaned up in Laurel County

The CSX train derailed on Friday morning at a crossing in London. It was carrying mono-ammonium phosphate, a fertilizer.

Only one car turned over. A spokesperson for CSX says that car lost about a dump truck's worth of fertilizer. Workers dug a trench in the area to make sure it didn't hurt the environment.

There were no injuries reported.

An investigation is now underway into what happened.
