Three People Facing Animal Cruelty Charges Head To Court

Three people charged in a massive animal cruelty case in Jackson County are expected to be back in court Monday for a hearing.

Earlier this month, police found more than one hundred dogs in filthy conditions at a home in the Sand Springs community.

Several had died and others were taken to a nearby shelter.

Shawn Embs, Timothy Foust-Robbins, and Aimee Foust now face several counts of animal cruelty.

Unreal. To think these people had children in that house...I have been searching for this woman for years as Timothy Foust adopted my son. Can't take care of dogs, but the court will give you a child. I only hope the child taken to children services wasn't my son... but it is my hope that whatever child they took from them can now have peace and happiness. E-mail me with any info you may have please. I would like very much to show my son not everyone in his family is a lowlife.

The sad thing it that here in Floyd county there is noone responsible enough or that cares enough to make a report to. I know of someone that has made several complaints to the animal control and nothing has been done. So what can one do? We need stricter leash laws and abuse/neglect cases and someone above the local laws to handle the local complaints. It is all in who you know.

YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS NOT A GOOD THING TO BE NOT TAKING CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS GET THEM SPAYED OR NEUTERED THAT IS WHY THESE ANIMAL SHELTERS ARE SO FULL OF ANIMALS THAT DONT EVEN HAVE A CHANCE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SICK WHEN THEY GET TO THE SHELTERS.IF YOU CANT TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS WHY HAVE THEM ...THEN ALL THEY DO IS SUFFER..PLEASE EVERYONE TAKE NOTICE AT ALL THE STARVING ANIMALS ,ANIMALS THAT DONT GET TAKEN CARE OF AND REPORT IT
