Man Saves Home From Fire

A homeowner's quick actions may have kept his Lexington home from going up in flames.

The home on Plum Drive, near Man O' War and Tates Creek, caught fire just before seven Thursday morning.

That fire destroyed the deck and caused minor damage to the siding on the back of the house.

The homeowner and neighbors used hoses to put out the flames. Fire officials say the rain also helped.
