Vice President Cheney, Former President To Visit Kentucky

Kentucky is once again in the political spotlight.

Vice President Dick Cheney landed in Lexington Monday morning and made his way to a private fundraiser. He’s there campaigning for Senator Brett Guthrie who is running for a congressional seat. Representative Hal Rogers and Coach Billy Gillispie are also expected to be in attendance at the luncheon fundraiser.

Dick Cheney isn't the only politician visiting the state.

Chelsea is set to stump for her mother at UK on Tuesday. The former first daughter will talk with students at the Student Center starting beginning at 1pm.

Bill Clinton is also making a return to Kentucky. He'll be in Pikeville on Thursday for a rally at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.
