WKU Coach May Be Headed To The SEC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - University of South Carolina board members
have scheduled a meeting where they will reportedly discuss replacing retired basketball coach Dave Odom.
Several media outlets, citing unnamed sources, are reporting that Western Kentucky coach Darrin Horn will be South Carolina's new basketball coach. Odom stepped down after seven years with the
Calls to school officials Monday were not immediately returned. The board meeting is set for Tuesday.
Western Kentucky athletic director Wood Selig could not say Monday if Horn had accepted the position.
The 35-year-old Horn has three years remaining on his contract. That includes a buyout of $157,000 per year and a provision requiring Horn's new school to play four games against the Hilltoppers.

    No way! Western is where Coach Horn played.. plus the Tops are a better school than USC anyday. Stay at Western.. build another powerhouse in the bluegrass.
