Victim In Fiery Crash Identified Using Dental Records

The third victim of a violent crash in Fayette County has now been identified.

The coroner says 19-year-old Ashley Edwards died in a fiery crash on Russell Cave Road at Huffman Mill Pike, early Friday morning.

Police say two other people also died in that crash. The other two victims, who were identified on Friday, were 27-year-old Jaymal Washington and 31-year-old Brock Clark.

Police say the car left the road and hit two trees before bursting into flames. Police say it appears speed did play a role in the crash.

The woman, who has since been identified as Edwards, was so badly burned, there was no way to tell who she was. The coroner says after they got tips from people who thought they knew her, they used dental records to make a positive identification.

It's still not clear how Edwards knew Washington and Clark.
