Police Search For Suspect Who Burglarized Church

Police in Madison County are trying to find the person they say stole thousand of dollars worth of equipment from a church.

Someone broke into the Grace Community Church near Berea on Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect took musical instruments and audio equipment, but the stolen items were found later that day, at a nearby home.

Police say they've identified a suspect but have not made an arrest yet.

I am a painter that painted the Church before Easter, I wish this person knew the amount of work Pastor Wilson, his wife, his sons & daughters, volenteers, Laura & all the members of this Church done, in an effert to help Bereas Students & new residents to Berea, just goes to show , whenever you set out to do good, evil will be present. Love & prayers, Richard Kelley

How could someone steal from a church? It is Holy ground. We all need to pray for the person who broke in. Just remember the Lord says "vengance is mine".

That is the worst of the worst who would steal from a church. If an arrest is made, every person who attends that church should be in the court room for his/her arraignment and not take their eyes off of him/her. This is the definition of "a shame".
