Help Still Available For Victims Of February Storm

Time is running out for people to apply for help to repair damage from severe storms, earlier this year.

FEMA and the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management are handing out money to people in 15 Kentucky counties.

The 15 counties eligible for assistance are: Allen, Bath, Christian, Fayette, Hardin, Harrison, Hart, Hopkins, Meade, Mercer, Monroe, Muhlenburg, Nicholas, Shelby and Spencer.

Tornadoes and strong storms hit back on February 5th and 6th.

Individuals and small business owners can apply for loans to cover disaster-related damages to rental or personal property.

For more information, visit the FEMA website. The deadline to register is April 21.
