One killed, two injured in Leslie County head-on crash

LESLIE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are investigating a crash that has killed one person, and injured two others.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 421, about three miles south of Hyden.

The coroner tells WKYT a car and a truck collided head-on.

The road was closed at least three hours following the crash, as police investigated.

We're told the two people who were injured in the crash have been flown to a hospital in Tennessee.

The names of the person killed, or the people injured in the crash have not been released.
