Emergency Responder Gets National Recognition

One of the first responders to the crash of Flight 5191 is getting some national recognition.

Officer Jon Sallee - who worked for Blue Grass Airport Police - helped pull co-pilot James Polehinke from the wreckage.

Polehinke was the lone survivor of the crash.

Sallee is now being honored with a "Carnegie Hero" medal for his efforts.

The award honors those who have risked their lives to save others.
