Four Confirmed Tornadoes In Southern KY

The national weather service has confirmed that at least four tornadoes touched down in Kentucky.

Three separate tornadoes hit in Clinton County.
At least two people were hurt there when the storms rolled through. Power and phone service was also knocked out in that area.

The N.W.S. also confirms an E-F2 tornado touched down in Wayne County. The worst of the damage seems to be in the Hall Valley area, about three miles outside Monticello. The storm blew off roofs, flattened barns, and sent trees into homes.

Alot of the damage happened on North Plesant Ridge Road in Clinton County. Three house were destroyed, and alot of the barns. Its is something to see it happen on the news somewhere else but to see it happen were you grew up is a totally different thing.

The tornado hit about 2:10 PM. Most damage was to the Massengale road. and Old Bethel road.Barns and house trailers were flattened. Big trees were like toothpicks to this storm. It was nowhere as strong as the one on April 3, 1974
