Teen's Disappearance May Be Internet Connected

The search is over for a missing girl in Southern Kentucky.
13-year old Janet Marie Dulworth of Russellville hadn't been seen since Friday night.

Police believe she left with someone she met over the Internet.
Police found Dulworth Saturday night. They say she was in Barbourville with two men.

The parental control that works is parents knowing what their children are doing on the internet. Do not let your kids spend hours online unsupervised. Unfortunately, there are predators who rely on this very thing. Remember, kids are often naive, impulsive and impressionable; they are not adults and do not have the same reasoning or self control. I am very happy that this child was found, but too many are not.

"Parental controls" won't stop a determined chatter/internet junkie. I speak from experience. LOL I'm glad she was found safe. I'm sure her family is relieved! Janet Marie, try one of these: photography, scrapbooking, writing, acting, collecting something, geneology, garening, etc. Trust me, in the long run, you get better results from any of these than you do from chatting!

The same thing happend to my sister's stepdaughter. These teens seem to have no fear at all about meeting strangers. That was the first thing I was taught as a child. Parents need to put better parental controls on their computers.
