A Floyd County Animal Control Officer charged with driving drunk in his county vehicle while on the job will have to wait another two months for a trial.
David Shepherd's trial was scheduled for Tuesday, but was postponed because his drug test results are not ready yet.
Prestonsburg Police arrested him in February after they caught his animal control truck swerving all over the road.
They say he failed field sobriety tests and had pills in the car.
He is on unpaid suspension pending the outcome of his trial.
It is re-scheduled for June 24th.
