Golden Alert issued for missing Lexington man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Golden Alert has been issued for a man suffering from Alzheimer's disease, who hasn't been seen since Thursday afternoon.

Lexington Police say Dennis Vanderpool went missing around 2:30 p.m.

Police say he is believed to be traveling in a black 2001 Ford Ranger, with a Kentucky license plate of 595-FMP.

Police think Vanderpool could possibly have headed to Richmond.

Vanderpool was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green t-shirt, and a camouflage print jacket.
