Man Pleads Guilty To His Role In Former Sheriff's Murder

One of the men accused in the murder of a former eastern Kentucky sheriff entered a guilty plea in court Monday.

Dewayne Harris admitted to his role in the murder of former Harlan County Sheriff Paul Browning Junior back in 2002.

Harris is charged with facilitation to commit murder, solicitation to commit arson, two counts of complicity to commit tampering with physical evidence, and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

His recommended sentence is 30 years.

He'll be sentenced May 5th.
