Driver Crashes Car Into Lexington Home, Runs Away

An overnight crash sent a car through a Lexington home.

The driver of the car then took off from the scene along Versailles Road near New Circle.

Police say an older-model Ford Crown Victoria ran into the garage and hit three cars.

Code enforcement officials have condemned the garage.

Five people were inside the home at the time.

Nobody was hurt.

The driver ran from the scene. Police don't have a description.

    We need to get drivers like this off the road. He could of seriously injured someone or killed someone. They need to take his drivers liscence away and some time in jail should open up his eyes. It's the system and drivers like this always get away.

    But they have the plate numbers and the idiot drunk who ran away from the scene was obviously too drunk to realize that running just got him into more trouble.
