Police Look For Cherry Picking Gang

Police in Scott County are stepping up patrols after dozens of car break-ins.

Investigators say a group of teens who are calling themselves the cherry picking gang are targeting unlocked cars.

Police say the thieves will occasionally leave a note for their victims telling them they shouldn't have left their doors unlocked.

Im sure all these Juveniles have learned their lesson and will learn from this. Everyone deserves a second chance. As for the ridding of the privacy rights of juveniles, thats the stupidest idea i've ever heard. The privacy rights were made particulary for the physical safety of our juveniles as well as their reputations. What if someone decided to get even and went after one of these kids with a gun. Then the police would have to worry about a dead teenager. Thats just more work for the police. Maybe you should think before you talk from now on.

These are kids, their parents need to dicipline them. Georgetown police have too much time on their hand to be chasing kids around. They need to work on more serious crimes like murder etc. Georgetown Police is comparible to Mayberry Police.

I say that we get rid of privacy rights as it pertains to juvenile crime. Thier names and faces should be plastered all over the tv for all to see that way parents who know who the hooligans were and could keep thier children away from them!

everyone should get cameras.then maybe the cherry pickers can only pick the nose ont their face that will give them something to have fun doing.they will eventually get caught.

This is a serious issue in our town, and I expect serious attention to this issue. I appreciate the extra attention by our law enforcement to address this problem.
