Two Dead, Two Injured In Meade County Domestic Shooting

BRANDENBURG, Ky. (AP) - A man and his father-in-law are dead and
two women hospitalized after what police described as a domestic

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Friday in Brandenburg, about 42 miles west of Louisville. Kentucky State Police say two bodies were found outside a home, while two injured women were found inside.

Trooper say it appears 37-year-old Daniel Prough shot his father-in-law, 64-year-old Alvin Meyer.

Officers found the Prough's wife, 37-year-old Tammy Prough, and mother-in-law, 65-year-old Wanda Meyer, wounded inside the home.
They were transported by helicopter to University Hospital in Louisville, where they remain with critical injuries.

Two children who live at the home were uninjured and are in the care of family members. The investigation is continuing.

    These domestic cases happen ever day.Its just when someone loses their life people take notice.We need more laws on this an the laws we have now need better enforced.I know no one can stop theses things from happening unless youre right there where its at.BUT if these people was given max time instead of probation they might think before they do it. GODSPEED

    ive seen theses things happen all the time its a EVERDAY problem death doesnt occur all the time and the sad thing is thats only when its heard about thanks again WKYT theses things need known people need to know for all that thought im a a bad person these things is whats important to me get theses people off the street to
