BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - A judge has reduced bond for a pregnant woman jailed since July on charges she left 19 children alone in a Warren County house.
The Daily News reported Tuesday that Warren Circuit Judge John Grise reduced bond for 32-year-old Jackie Farah from $100,000 cash to a $10,000 cash and a surety bond.
Farah is due to give birth March 3.
She is charged with 14 counts of first-degree criminal abuse and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after authorities say she left 19 children ages 7 months to 16 years alone in a filthy, hot house for several days.
Farah is lodged in the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women in Pewee Valley. Her trial is set for March 19.
A second person, 32-year-old Irving Deadre Smith, was indicted on the same charges but remains at large.
