Fire Destroys Rockcastle County Home

Fire destroyed a home in southern Rockcastle County Wednesday morning.

Neighbors saw fire coming out of the home on West Level Green Road about 7am Wednesday morning and called for help.

Firefighters say the homeowner was at work when the fire happened and no one else was inside.

Neighbors say the resident was renting the house while in the process of building another one.

Way to go Brodhead Vol. Fire Dept. You are dogged by others in the county but you prove yourselves time and time again. You guys rock!It is seen over and over that you come in there when other Fire Departments in the county need and call on you.Forgiving hearts and concern for the residents of this county is what sets you all apart from the rest.I am very proud of each one of you.I am also glad to be in YOUR jurisdiction.
