Sunken Boat Pulled From Scott County Creek

Emergency workers in Scott County spent a lot of time at small lake on Wednesday morning, after discovering a sunken boat.

Crews found the boat at Eagle Creek Park outside Sadieville.

Emergency workers suited up and dove in the water to make sure nobody had been trapped underneath the vessel. They quickly realized the boat had been abandoned.

After pulling it from the water, they found holes in the boat and noticed the identification had been painted over.

Emergency workers are still trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding the sunken boat.

I believe it was sunk by the "Boat People" immigrating to Sadieville. Hey Zatoichi, ever heard of the "Dry Foot Policy"? lol

The boat is believed to be the remains of the Titanic that sank in the early part of the 20th century when it hit an iceberg off the coast of Georgetown. There was amovie made starring Leonardo De Caprio several years ago depicting the incident, I can't remember the name of the movie.
