Police Searched For Man Who Jumped Counter, Robbed Hotels

Police are looking for a man they say stole money from three central Kentucky hotels.

Police say the man jumped over the counter and took money from the register at the Courtyard Marriott in Hamburg, back on April 16th.

Police say a few days later, on April 25th, the same man hit a Red Roof Inn with a similar tactic. Winchester police think he also robbed a hotel in their town that same day. They aren't saying which hotel he robbed.

Based on surveillance pictures and video, police think the same person is responsible for all three crimes.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect or other information relating to this investigation is asked to please contact the Lt. Ron Compton, Property Crimes Section (Lexington Division of Police) at (859) 258-3700, Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020, or Det. Tom Lewis (Winchester Police Department) at (859) 745-7411.
