A former UK football player who survived a horrific bus crash in 1988 made an appearance on the Montel Williams show on Wednesday.
Harold Dennis is a survivor of the 1988 bus crash near Carrollton. It's the worst drunk driving crash in U.S. history. 27 people died.
Dennis was 14-years-old when the accident happened, and he suffered severe burns over much of his body. He told Montel that sports gave him hope for his future.
Dennis played in 18 games as a wildcat, caught five passes, returned 10 kickoffs for a 23-yard average, and earned two varsity letters. He also turned down numerous movie contracts so he could focus on playing for Kentucky.
