Convicted Kidnapper Released From Jail Early

A woman convicted in connection with the kidnapping and killing of a 10-year old boy is now a free woman.

Susane Baker was sentenced to 25 years in prison back in 1994, but she received credit for time served and good behavior, so that knocked several years off that time.

Baker checked Scotty Baker out of his Clay County school then took his to his step-mother, Stephanie Spitser.

Spitser, who was also convicted, strangled the boy. She's serving a life sentence.

This is absolutely terrible. I did not know you got 11 years off for good behavior on a ten year sentence. There must be something going on. If she can be released for a crime that her and the step-mother committed then they should unlock the doors to many prisoners. If a child's life is only worth 14 years. Oh my !!!!!

So the step mother gets life and the other person gets a slap on the wrist because of good beahavoir. That is a bunch of crap and they both should spend their life rotting away in prison.25 years is nothing for taking the life of a little boy. This is where our court systems need to changed. It should be like this.. Anyone who commits a crime toward a child as long as they are proven guilty should spend the rest of their life in jail no matter if they have good behavior or not. Or we could do the same to them as they did to the child. This is crazy.
