KY Based Soldier Killed In Iraq

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - The Defense Department has confirmed
the combat death of a Fort Campbell soldier in Iraq. Staff Sgt. Clay Craig of Mesquite, Texas, was killed April 28 in Baghdad.

The military said in a news release Thursday Craig was struck by
small arms fire.

Craig was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment,
2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.

    I am so sorry for this soldiers family, and I pray that these things do not continue to happen to our soldiers fighting for our freedom. My brother is leaving for Afghanistan, and I understand the fear, but I hope that no families have to deal with the pain of losing their soldier. My prayers are with this family.
