Friday was sentencing day for a Johnson County man accused of shoving baby wipes down a child's throat.

Jonathan Crum pleaded guilty to second degree assault and criminal abuse earlier this month. The child's mother, Shauna Childers, also plead guilty to second degree criminal abuse.

Crum was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Braden Childers, who was eight-months-old at the time of the incident, is still recovering.

The "mother" got 5 years probation. Mark my words, she'll get them back in no time and that poor baby will wind up hurt or killed before he's old enough to go to school. They ALWAYS give the kid back to the mother, no matter how guilty she is.

What did Childers get? Where is the baby staying at now. I pray the little one has no lasting damage. I am glad he got that time and she should to.
