Deputies Arrest Man Wanted In String Of Burglaries

Police now have a man in custody, wanted in connection to burglaries in several counties.

The Sheriff's Department arrested Jeremy Puckett Monday morning in Scott County. They've been looking for him since March.

Deputies say they caught up with Puckett because they learned his wife was scheduled for a c-section at Georgetown Community Hospital.

Police say Puckett and Thomas Perysian are behind a string of burglaries in Scott, Bourbon and Harrison counties.

Perysian was arrested after breaking into a home in Harrison County and being shot in the rear end.

Perysian has already been indicted on charges of theft, burglary and criminal mischief.
