School Bus Overturns, Injuring Students

LEBANON JUNCTION, Ky. (AP) - A spokesman for the Bullitt County
School Board says a slow-moving school bus overturned on its side and several students were taken to a nearby hospital for observation.
Eric Farris, an attorney and spokesman for the school board, says school officials are investigating why the bus from Lebanon Junction Elementary School turned over just after 3:30 p.m. EDT Monday near Collings Hill and Highway 61.
Farris was unsure how many students were on the bus but said the vehicle holds 55 at capacity.
Several students were taken to Jewish Hospital Medical Center
South in Shepherdsville. Farris says no one appeared to be seriously injured.
