GE Plant In Louisville Could See Changes

Thousands of people in Jefferson County are concerned about their jobs today.

General Electric announced Friday it plans to sell or find a partner for its Louisville-based business unit that makes refrigerators and washing machines.

General Electric has employed more than 40 thousand people in the Louisville area in the past 50 years.

GE is the biggest manufacturer of appliances for new homes in the United States. The price tag on the potential deal could be between five and eight billion dollars.

Hopefull these fine folks can work for someone other than Iran's supporter GE. GE, please leave our state. I threw out my microwave 3 months ago because it said GE on it. Boycott GE NOW, tell them to stop supporting IRAN.
