Church Burglar Spotted, Pawning Stolen Computer

A 27 NEWSFIRST viewer helps make a break in the case of a church burglary in Knox County.

We told you Thursday about a break-in at the New Covenant Baptist Church in Woodbine. Now, the minister says a stolen computer has turned up at a pawn shop.

He says the owner of that shop saw the story on 27 NEWSFIRST and realized the computer was one stolen from the church.

The pawn shop owner says he has surveillance video of the person who sold it to him.

If you make your apartment looks occupied while you are away, then you have an opportunity to substantially decrease a chance of burglary. Lights and noise in your apartment are the best burglar deterrents. These CDs have prerecorded household sounds and bathroom noises that make a huge impression that your apartment is occupied, even if nobody is there. You can let CD play nonstop while you are away. Two sites make similar products: and Hope this might help a loot!
