Railroad Museum Reopens After Fire

The Bluegrass Railroad Museum in Woodford County re-opened Friday morning with the addition of a new wing.

The museum closed last year after its second story caught fire. A year later the museum is back and ready to serve the community.

The improved facility houses railroad artifacts and a 500 volume library. The museum also runs train rides on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Train rides are 10 dollars for adults and 7 dollars for children. All proceeds go to the up keep of the museum and its railway.
