A South Floyd High School team is celebrating a state championship.

The Student Technology Leadership Program, or STLP, competed against hundreds of teams at a state competition in Lexington.

The group does a variety of things including making posters, banners, creating websites, and raising money for the school and charity.

The team will be headed to San Antonio, Texas June 29th for a national showcase.

Bailey Hamilton also placed second in the state in the designed graphic competition.

Trista Damron and Kory Henry place second in the state in the presenters category for their presentation of the web sites created by our team.

Knott County Central came in 2nd. They even had a student to win 1st place in a photography catagory!
