I grew up in Isom, Patricia, McConnell and McCain are going to be winners in NOV, BIG winners. Even in a dumbocrat strong hold county like Letcher, McConnell wins everytime, everytime he has ran. Patricia, you are obviously dreaming like the other libs on here. I have a wake up call for you, it's called becoming a Conservative. Wake up Patricia, wake up sleepy.

Harlan County is Mitch Country. I LOL out the comments on here thinking that lunsford has chance. There is a chance, almost like Obama beating McCain in KY. However, it's NOT gonna happen. Love to the libs cause I can read hate in your hearts.

Dream Liberals Dream. That's all you got against Mitch. A Dream. To think of your candidate would be a nightmare for me so I's glad I'm conservative. LOL!!! Mitch has more in his campaign chest than Lunsford or the DNC will spend. Just wait and if helps, keep dreaming haters.

This is why Lunsford is even up against McConnell. Read my facts and you decide if you want the DNC in KY. Washington insiders pushed several potential challengers out of the race. Rather than pick someone on the merits, they dug up a candidate who could "self-fund" or write a personal check to go up against me. Liberal groups like MoveOn, Big Labor, and bitterly partisan national blogs have been running an unofficial campaign against me since 2006. They have had their eyes on my Senate seat since the last election. Throughout the entire campaign, these same liberals have engaged in tasteless and truly unconscionable personal attacks on me. I'm eager to have a civilized debate about the issues -- but name-calling and insults don't help Kentucky voters make a decision. Let's make the best decesion for KY, vote McConnell. Thanks. Matt.

I agree that McConnell has a lot of clout in Washington, unfortunately he's used that clout to block important legislation from ever being passed because he wasn't paid-off beforehand. He does not have KY's best interests at heart, only his own personal interests. HOWEVER, Lunsford cannot beat him, Mitch is as electable statewide as Hal Rogers is in the 5th District...people automatically vote for them and don't examine what they've REALLY done for/against Kentuckians. Hal Rogers, however, has really brought the cash cow home to his district and lots of jobs, building projects, etc. However, some of the counties in his district (the Democratic ones) have been shafted by him during his years and that is sad. A true public servant helps out all his people, even those who don't like him, and eventually wins them over...but doesn't purposefully hurt anyone out of spite. Mitch does this weekly in the Senate.

Lunsford is dreaming, if he thinks McConnel will call him Senator.

The GOP is dead in the water this November, all we have to do is look in our pocket and there is no money left due to the economy that has been created and allowed to erode the very heard of American way of life and isn't Mitch a key player?
